alsar-atelier  is a pandemic-born architecture and design studio based in Boston & Bogotá. The practice focuses on the design and development of public installations with a social purpose and small scale residential projects. The studio has a design methodology that prioritizes concepts of sustainable materials, affordable strategies, and community engagement. Led by Alejandro Saldarriaga Rubio, the practice has generated a line of work that has been featured in diverse media including articles from Metropolis magazine 202 Jul-Aug Edition, Arquine, and the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Recently, the studio was featured in Archdaily’s Best New Practices 2023
