The purpose of this project was to rehabilitate the economic sectors that were harmed during the beginning of the pandemic. As we were designing for a market plaza that held cultural uses, we proposed a U typology that would render a flexible outdoor amphitheater that held commercial spaces on the first floor, restaurant tables in the second floors, and a public park on the third floor, which responded to all the needs of the plaza. Due to the ephemeral nature of the proposal, we used scaffolding, lightweight textiles, and meshes that would render a temporary intervention with zero waste.
